Wooden purses

Wooden purses? Of course! What else would you expect from a woodworking artist?

These purses are made from plywood of various species with solid wood added in as well as pattern-ply. The curves are created using a “living hinge”. This is done by cutting very close and exact kerfs in the wood to allow it to bend easily. Closures are done with either magnets or a wooden latch mechanism.
